Installation and setup for Minecraft 26.1.2, 26.1.1, and 26.1 on Fabric.

Installation

SkyBlock versions

Hypixel SkyBlock only allows the latest three major Minecraft content updates. 1.21.10 and 1.8.9 no longer work on Hypixel. Polinex supports 26.1.2 / 26.1.1 / 26.1 on Fabric. Hypixel announcement

Modrinth Launcher

Polinex is currently incompatible with Modrinth App/Launcher. Modrinth adds launch arguments by default that Polinex can mistake for a crack attempt.

Requirements

  • Minecraft: 26.1.2, 26.1.1, or 26.1. Launch your version once before installing mods.
  • Mod loader: Fabric. When creating a 26.1.x instance in Prism Launcher, pick the Fabric option shown for that Minecraft version.
  • Java: 26.1.x requires Java 25+ (Minecraft 26.1 raised the minimum). Azul OpenJDK is highly recommended. In Prism Launcher, set the correct Java version under your instance's Java settings.
  • Dependencies: Fabric API and Fabric Language Kotlin for your chosen Minecraft version (links below).

Java version problems?

Multiple Java versions installed? Search "set default java version [Windows/Mac/Linux]" for your OS. If 26.1.x fails to launch, confirm the instance uses Java 25. Java 21 will not work for that version.

Minecraft 26.1.2 / 26.1.1 / 26.1

Use 26.1.2, 26.1.1, or 26.1 with Fabric as the mod loader. Requires Java 25+, the official Minecraft Launcher bundles this automatically; in Prism Launcher, point the instance at Java 25.

  1. Create a Fabric instance for 26.1.2, 26.1.1, or 26.1 and select Fabric.
  2. Download and add to your mods folder (use builds matching your Minecraft version):
  3. Add PolinexFabricLoader-26.1.2.jar from the Dashboard to the same mods folder.
  4. Launch once with Fabric to confirm the profile works.

Prism Launcher (recommended)

Prism Launcher is the easiest way to set up Polinex. Download it from prismlauncher.org, then follow the Prism Launcher setup guide for your Minecraft version.

Other launchers

Using the official Minecraft Launcher, MultiMC, CurseForge, or something else? The same mods and dependencies apply, only the instance setup differs. Search for "how to install Fabric mods on [your launcher]" if you need launcher-specific help.

Different setups

Every computer setup is different. If something does not match exactly, the core steps are still the same: correct Minecraft version, Fabric loader, dependencies, and Polinex in the mods folder.

Download Polinex

Download the Fabric Loader from the Dashboard (Download → Fabric Loader). The download is PolinexFabricLoader-26.1.2.jar and works on Minecraft 26.1.2, 26.1.1, and 26.1.

With Discord linked, you can also use /polinex fabric download in our Discord server.

Mod conflicts

Known incompatibilities: Packcore, Owolib, Modrinth Launcher, Dulkir Mod (Mac only), Debugify, Nvidium (Linux only). Find another conflict? Let us know on Discord.

Adding mods

  • Official launcher: .minecraft/mods/
  • Prism / MultiMC: Instance → Edit → Open Minecraft folder → mods
  • Remove mods targeting a different Minecraft version before launching.
  • Place PolinexFabricLoader-26.1.2.jar, Fabric API, and Fabric Language Kotlin in the mods folder.
  • Optional: Sodium for better performance (not required).

Antivirus

Polinex uses a loader, so some antivirus tools may flag it. Before downloading, disable your antivirus briefly, add an exclusion for your mods folder, then re-enable it. See the Virus Exclusion Guide for a video walkthrough (license required).

Getting started

Join Hypixel SkyBlock, then run /polinex to open the GUI. For macro setup, routing, and safety, see Guides.

Allocating more RAM

Minecraft defaults to 2GB RAM, which can struggle with mods. Bumping this up usually helps performance.

  • Open your launcher instance settings.
  • Find JVM / Java arguments and change -Xmx2G to -Xmx4G (or -Xmx6G if you have 16GB+ system RAM).

Troubleshooting

  • Launch with your Fabric profile (not vanilla).
  • Confirm Fabric API, Fabric Language Kotlin, and PolinexFabricLoader-26.1.2.jar are in the mods folder.
  • Verify your instance uses Java 25+ (required for Minecraft 26.1.x).
  • Check .minecraft/logs/latest.log for errors.
  • Temporarily remove other mods to test for conflicts.
